NETCONOMY Customer Summit 2025: a Look Inside the “Tomorrow Now”

When you hear “Customer Summit,” you probably think of bland coffee, buzzword bingo, and a desperate struggle to stay awake. We get it. That’s exactly what we wanted to avoid when planning this year’s Tomorrow Now – NETCONOMY Customer Summit 2025.
And you know what? It worked.
We threw open the doors to our CX Innovation Hub in Vienna (part of the global SAP AppHaus network), not just to talk at our customers and partners, but to talk with them. The mission was simple: cut through the fluff, have real conversations, and figure out what’s next, together.
“Of course, the main topic was AI. But the conversation went deeper than just asking ‘What is AI?’. We focused on the practical questions: How does it fit into my organization? And most importantly, how do I prepare my data so I can actually benefit from it? That’s where the collaboration with partners like SAP and Google becomes crucial, helping bring that data into the processes where it can create real value.” said Jörg Wesiak, Head of Consulting at NETCONOMY.
The Day’s Big Ideas
The sessions were packed with actionable insights. A standout was the deep dive into AI’s transformative role in customer experience, presented by our CTO Martin Bachler alongside Christian Otto from SAP. They mapped out how we’re designing this new path together, balancing cutting-edge technology with the essential human and process elements.
The theme of building lasting relationships continued with Manuela Fritzl and Urs Blöchlinger from Migros, who shared their playbook on unlocking brand love and the increasing importance of genuine customer loyalty. We also got a behind-the-scenes look at the practical application of AI with our partners at Douglas, as we explored the different innovative use cases we are working on together.
For the B2B world, Jörg Wesiak and Johannes Kiekhöfer from Horváth tackled the challenge of creating “sales rep-free experiences.” They laid out a practical three-step approach for building a fully automated revenue engine, acknowledging that most companies still struggle because their systems and data aren’t ready.
And looking to the future, Aaron Nossek delivered a fantastic closing talk on AI Shopping Agents. He explored how AI is shifting product discovery away from traditional search engines and towards conversational tools, and what this massive trend means for the future of e-commerce. To tie it all together, Gen Z Trend Expert Tristan Horx reminded us that the future isn’t something that just happens to us – we’re the ones building it.
More Than Just Business
Sure, we’re tech nerds and business consultants. But what really makes NETCONOMY stand out is the people.
Seeing our team in action, passionately sharing their knowledge and, more importantly, listening with genuine curiosity, was the best part. For us, this summit is less about corporate agendas and more about the people who make it all happen. It’s a chance to connect on a human level, share a meal (and a few laughs), and strengthen the relationships that are the true foundation of our success.
Urs Blöchlinger from the leading retailer Migros said the following: “The most valuable part of our partnership with NETCONOMY is their deep expertise and the long-term relationship we’ve built together. Events like this are so important because they bring that partnership to life. Having direct access to their team and a strong relationship with SAP gives us invaluable market insights.”
It’s in these moments of collaboration and shared energy that you see the real magic of our culture. We’re a team that shows up, loves a good challenge, and is genuinely proud to deliver.
So, a huge thank you to everyone who came, shared, and made the day unforgettable. The coffee was hot, the conversations were real, and the future looks bright.
