NETCONOMY Summit 2024: Home of Bold Ideas

On 18 October, Graz hosted the much-anticipated NETCONOMY Summit 2024. Welcoming everyone to the ‘Home of Bold Ideas,’ this year’s gathering brought together our entire company to celebrate achievements, forge new relationships, and set the course for the future.

Our CEO Martin Barzauner said, “The NETCONOMY Summit is crucial for us because we need everyone to understand where we are and where we are going, and the best way to communicate that is by meeting in person.”

Welcome to the Home of Bold Ideas

After the morning coffee helped everyone wake up, we started the day with management keynotes. These sessions aim to give a comprehensive view of the company and the market, celebrate our successes, and chart a course for the following year.

In his keynote, Martin Barzauner said that even though the global economic situation is still difficult, NETCONOMY is well positioned to not only remain stable but grow in the year ahead. He also mentioned that this is something that can’t be said for most of our peers on the market.

Our Chief Customer Officer, Thomas Ziegler, highlighted that NETCONOMY is seen as a leader for SAP Customer Experience solutions in the German market. This sentiment was also reflected in the guest keynote by our partners from SAP. Alex Timlin (Chief Expert Customer Experience and CRM, SAP) said that NETCONOMY is “one of SAP’s best partners, not only in the region but globally, when it comes to understanding digital experiences.”

As is tradition, we closed the morning part of the program with the “Blue Couch,” a face-to-face adaptation of our all-hands meeting. This is where colleagues have a chance to discuss topics crucial for the company’s future and ask tough questions that help us reflect and keep improving.

A Focus on Learning and Innovation

Learning and development are at the heart of every NETCONOMY Summit. Every year, we come together to learn and share experiences with each other. Colleagues led an impressive array of sessions, panels, and hands-on workshops covering topics such as composable commercegenerative AI, and the evolving landscape of digital commerce in China.

These sessions allowed us to tap into the collective knowledge and expertise within NETCONOMY to spark new ideas and innovations that are essential to who we are as a company.

Welcome to the Fun Zone

Understanding that strong personal relationships are critical to a successful workplace, we created a dedicated space where colleagues could relax, chat, and connect on a personal level. This “fun zone” was designed to foster camaraderie and teamwork, ensuring these bonds extend into our everyday work life.

True to tradition, the summit ended with a bang. The closing party was a celebration of the day’s learning and achievements and a tribute to our collective spirit.

As music filled the air and colleagues danced, the atmosphere was one of joy and appreciation, reinforcing the sense of community that makes NETCONOMY one of a kind.
