NETCONOMY Pörtschach: First Teamevent at Our Newest Location
Last Wednesday our colleagues from Pörtschach hosted their first summer event in our newest location, right next to Lake Wörthersee in Carinthia. With six colleagues counting, it is our smallest office – in size, but not in spirit!
Vanessa, Pörtschachs’ location manager, and her colleagues organized a beach-themed gathering featuring a variety of games where our teams could compete in various games like boccia or simply hang out at the lakeside with good food and drinks.
The event was part of our after-work-events series driven by the NETCONOMY Social Club, which aims at fostering and deepening social connections in our distributed workforce by organizing offline and on-site events in different categories.
To enhance connections among our team across various locations, we arranged pool cars from Graz and train rides from Vienna so colleagues from these locations could also join the event.
The next day, our colleagues in Pörtschach seized the opportunity to give the team a tour of the office and engage in face-to-face collaboration on various topics. Since most of our teams are working distributed, it’s always refreshing to come together and work in a non-remote setting.
Our team in Carinthia has been around for a while, but at the end of 2023, we relocated to our new office in Pörtschach. It is situated in a co-working space within walking distance to the lake, but like our other offices, it is equipped with the latest workplace facilities, such as ergonomic desks, and offers refreshments like coffee, fresh juices, and a weekly breakfast.
