Success for MIGROS at the SAP Quality Award 2018 in Basel

NETCONOMY implements central SAP Hybris e-commerce platform at MIGROS and takes its digitization strategy to the next level

The SAP Quality Award is given annually to customers who were able to realize outstanding innovation activities. Migros, the largest retailer in Switzerland, wins the Silver Award for the implementation of a central SAP Hybris e-commerce platform by NETCONOMY. With the realization of a central multi-client platform based on SAP Hybris, expensive and difficult to maintain silo solutions of the individual business units of MIGROS are replaced.

Silo solutions with low standards and individual developments, do not allow reusability of existing processes and components and must therefore always be redesigned and restructured.

NETCONOMY’s implementation of a central SAP Hybris e-commerce platform will allow for maximum synergies between the business units (Melectronics, Micasa, Interio, Doit + Garden, M-Service, Bikeworld, SportXX) and a significant reduction in implementation costs.

Standardized interfaces quickly provide existing business units and future vendors with the same functionality and components, dramatically reducing the time-to-market for new products or business units.

The implementation of Migros’ digital transformation demands modern, complex IT systems and efficient processes, areas in which NETCONOMY was able to successfully apply its know-how.
