Leading with Responsibility: NETCONOMY’s 2025 ESG Report
At NETCONOMY, we believe that how we conduct our business is just as important as the results we deliver. Today, we are releasing our 2025 ESG Report. For us, this is a reflection of our culture and a roadmap for our future.
Our CFO Andreas Schilk, said the following: “The importance of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles is more evident than ever, serving as both a moral compass and a vital driver for our strategic evolution. By actively strengthening our ESG considerations across our operations, we are building greater resilience, fostering innovation, and creating a more sustainable future for our people and the planet.”
Real Actions for the Environment
Sustainability is frequently discussed in abstract terms, but we prefer to focus on the tangible. Since 2019, our Graz and Vienna offices have operated exclusively on renewable energy. In addition, we are prioritizing rail travel over cars and short-haul flights, and have successfully reduced our business trip CO2 emissions by nearly 27 tons in 2025.
Beyond our borders, we partnered with BOKU and Caritas. Our €10,000 donation to the ‘Green Energy and Nutrition’ project in Uganda is aimed at empowering women and enhancing food security.
Diversity as a Core Competency
We have long maintained that our diversity is our greatest strength. Complex IT problems require diverse perspectives. When a team brings together different cultural backgrounds and life experiences, the solutions are more resilient and innovative. Today, our team includes colleagues from 34 different nationalities.
We are also pleased to see steady growth in our representation of women, who now make up 36% of our total workforce and nearly 32% of our leadership roles. We are committed to fostering an environment where these numbers continue to climb.
Governance Built on Trust and Transparency
In a digital landscape where security risks are rising, our commitment to governance is non-negotiable. We employ a Zero-Trust-Security Model, ensuring that data protection is woven into the fabric of our operations.
But governance is also about internal transparency. We maintain an open feedback culture, highlighted by our “Blue Couch” sessions. These bi-weekly meetings allow our management team to speak directly with the entire company, answering questions and addressing concerns in real-time. We believe that an informed team is an empowered one.
Building the Future Together
Last year, our team came together to raise nearly €99,000, including €80,000 as part of our annual Christmas donation campaign, for various charitable causes, including supporting children’s health and local community safety. This collective effort is what truly defines “Life at NETCONOMY.”
Whether you are looking for a strategic partner for your next business transformation or a place to grow your career, we invite you to see how we are building a more sustainable and equitable future.
