YOUR JOB
As trainee in our Backend Department at NETCONOMY, you will gain knowledge and practical experience in creating modern web solutions. In this process, you will be proactively supported by your experienced colleagues.
What will you do?

Gain insights into the daily business of a software developer on a project and learn about agile methodologies, such as SCRUM
-
Gain your first practical experience by taking over tasks and small projects as part of the training in a protected learning environment

Specify and design optimal technical solutions and take care of documentation

Work with modern Java technologies and frameworks

Work with established frameworks and platforms like Spring and SAP Commerce

Use good practices of the software development process and software design

Do database modelling and optimization
-
You will be proactively supported by our experienced coaches and in-house trainers
YOUR SKILLS
-
Recent graduate or in the final phase of their studies (e.g. IT related, Business Informatics)

Passionate about software development and web technologies
-
Interest in IT projects and agile frameworks
-
Communicative personality who likes working autonomously as well as in a team

Excellent communication skills in English (at least B2 level)

Curious mindset with an eagerness to learn and grow

Ability to complete a technical task in Java as part of the selection process
WHAT TO EXPECT IN OUR RECRUITING PROCESS
As each role comes with unique expectations, the recruiting process is tailored accordingly. For this role, you can expect the following steps:

First Step: We’ll review your application documents. After reviewing the applications, we’ll contact the candidates who seem to be the best fit and invite them for an HR interview.

Second Step: After reviewing the applications, we’ll contact the candidates who seem to be the best fit. You’ll then receive a technical task, which can be completed within 3 days.

Third Step: Once you’ve completed the video and task, you’ll present your technical task to our colleagues. This is also your chance to meet potential colleagues, ask questions, and gain insights into what your traineeship could look like.

Fourth Step: Finally, it’s our turn to decide who will join the NETCONOMY Talent Lab 2026, not an easy decision!
