About the event:
To celebrate the opening of our new Carinthia office in Pörtschach, we are organizing an open-day event for everyone interested in IT. The event will bring together the spirit of the holiday season and the excitement of e-commerce troubleshooting.
Join us and help us solve an e-commerce crisis: The Christkind is trying to buy presents from the “Flying Cross” e-commerce platform, but the platform is down! As part of a team, you will try to help him resolve this issue and ensure all presents are delivered on time!
Once we save Christmas, we’ll give you a tour of our new office over cookies and hot drinks, and end the day by heading over to the nearby Christmas market together.

- Opening
We’ll kick off our event with an introduction by our location manager Lukas. He’ll provide insights on why NETCONOMY has an office in Carinthia, who the team members on site are and why Pörtschach is a new hotspot for us. - Challenge
Next up is our Christmas challenge! It’s just before Christmas, and the Christkind still needs to order his gifts in the ‘Flying Cross’ online shop, but the shop is down! Christkind can’t handle this alone and needs YOUR help. There are bugs to solve to get the shop back online. You will work in groups and solve five tasks in the field of software development – from exploring log files to deploying the fix. - Time for Cookies, Hot Drinks and Networking
The shop is (hopefully) online and it’s time to relax! Let’s celebrate with some cookies and hot drinks while having a tour of our new office location.
To round off the event, we will visit the nearby Christmas market together.
