Daughter’s Day at NETCONOMY Vienna

Explore the World of IT with Industry Experts

NETCONOMY is excited to be part of the Daughter’s Day organized by the City of Vienna – an initiative that introduces girls between fourteen and nineteen years to the world of IT and software development.

By participating, our goal is to provide young individuals with a glimpse into IT careers and highlight exciting job prospects in an engaging and interactive way. In our immersive workshops, we offer valuable insights across various IT domains and the chance to interact with our accomplished female leaders. Attendees can look forward to delicious food, enjoyable activities, and numerous opportunities to learn and network!

Further Info: The Vienna Daughters’ Day is a school-related event. Girls attending school in Vienna, Lower Austria or Burgenland are therefore excused from school on this day if they participate. If you sign up, kindly inform your teachers beforehand about your absence on that day. You will receive a confirmation of participation from us on-site that you will have to hand-in later.

09:00 - 14:00

9:00 – 10:00: Start the day with a warm welcome and a shared breakfast, where you can get to know our team and the other girls!
10:00 – 10:30: Learn more about what we do at NETCONOMY and ask us all you want to know about NETCONOMY.
10:45 – 12:15: Dive into the world of IT with our interactive workshops – each one only lasts 30 minutes, so you can participate in one or more workshops and make the most of your day! Choose between:
– Programming: Gain practical insights into coding and software development.
– Design Thinking: Discover how we combine creativity and user-centered design to create top-notch user experiences.
– Project Management: Learn how we effectively organize and execute complex projects.

12:30 – 13:00: Meet inspiring women from our team at our “Ask me Anything” sessions. They’ll share their experiences and insights into the IT industry.
From 13:00: Time for a well-deserved lunch break! Enjoy a shared meal and continue to connect with our team and other participants.
