Head of Customer Service & Operations (m/f/d)

As Head of Customer Service & Operations, you will take on the operational leadership of an internationally distributed team of 25 people based in Austria, Germany, and Serbia, and work with the CTO on the department’s strategic development. Your job’s key responsibilities are:

  • Continuously developing processes in Customer & Operations Service together with your team
  • Acting as the interface to other departments and collaborating closely with other areas to optimize processes
  • Supporting your team with escalations and collaboratively developing solutions
  • Developing your team further by setting individual development goals together with your team members
  • Representing the Technical & Customer Services department within and outside the company
  • Being responsible for our customers’ service and support contracts, including the design of contract terms and commercial implementation (planning, forecasting, invoicing)


Essential Skills 

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience
  • 3+ years of leadership experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German
  • Basic technical knowledge
  • In-depth understanding of processes in the areas Customer Service & Operations
  • Interest in the strategic development of your area of responsibility
  • Service-oriented, balanced, and empathetic personality with negotiation skills

Beneficial Skills

  • Completed degree in a technical or business field
  • Experience with agile methodologies
  • Know-how in process design

The actual salary depends on your qualifications and experience. What is also important to us is to pay our employees an internally comparable salary. For legal reasons, we need to disclose the minimum annual salary for full-time employment as stated in the current collective IT agreement, which is € 60.844 for this position.
